How will a Private Consultation help?
A private consultations is designed to provide solutions tailored to your specific needs, unique child and your parenting style. Solving challenges like these means addressing the problem on two levels: the behaviour you see and the underlying causes. This means using practical, ‘in the moment’ strategies as well as considering developmental drivers and needs, your child’s temperament, age and stage of development. Most parents we support have children aged 0-5, but we do also have experience of working with older children.
Parents often come to a consultation feeling hopeless or that they have tried everything, but there is always things that can be done to overcome the problem. For example, a consultation can give you creative strategies and play-based approaches to help you work through the issues with your child, in accordance with your parenting ethos. A consultation can help you reconnect with your child in a way that helps you get the cooperation you need. Consultations go way beyond gimmicks or rewards-based strategies, because research shows they are not effective tools for solving potty training challenges. You will learn gentle approaches to help you connect with your child and build your confidence, giving you both the sense of control and safety you need to master this milestone.
A private consultation includes:
– Around an hour of online consultation time with Rebecca to discuss needs and agree a plan
– A written summary of your plan
– Additional written materials to support you, depending on your problem
– Letters to your child’s doctor, school and/or nursery, if needed.
– An audio-recording of your consultation
– A digital copy of helpful resources to compliment what we have focused on in the session.

Did you know?
Constipation is the most common factor in potty training problems! Most parents and carers are unaware that there are 16 signs that a child is constipated so it often goes unrecognised and unresolved, leading to impaction.

Feedback from grateful parents and carers
Rebecca instantly understood our situation, she evaluated it with compassion and gave us a considered and personalised action plan. we started to see results instantly. Thank you so much!
I reached out to Little Bunny Bear in a real stress about the very frequent daily accidents my 4 year old was still having. It had been 2 years since we’d ‘potty trained’, and my husband and I (and wider family) felt we had tried everything in the typical tool belt but nothing had a lasting effect and we felt no one we knew had encountered a situation quite like ours. Within a few days I had a meeting with Alina; She made me feel completely at ease and crucially, that we weren’t alone. We were given a very clear and specific plan of action and we immediately saw a difference! Within 5 minutes of the meeting, I applied the ‘in the moment’ techniques we had talked about and it worked! Since then we have gone from 3-4 accidents a day to maybe 1 accident a week, completely life changing. The support is also ongoing, with an additional ‘I’ve been thinking, and this might help’ email and check-ins.
After noticing the early signs of withholding in our youngest child, we booked a private consultation with Rebecca. Having already experienced years of withholding and constipation with our eldest, we wanted to address the issue early with professional guidance. From the start, Rebecca immediately understood both our situation and our son, and she worked closely with us to create a tailored plan that fit his unique personality, our lifestyle, and our parenting approach.
At first, we weren’t sure if an hour-long session would be enough to make a difference, but we left the consultation equipped with practical strategies, valuable resources, and a clear plan to follow. And to our surprise, we saw results the very next day. I’m not exaggerating—we were genuinely shocked.
By incorporating specific phrases Rebecca introduced, using games suited to our son’s temperament, and following her recommended medical action plan, we’ve seen remarkable improvements. We’ve had far fewer accidents and every bowel movement has been in the potty since the consultation.
I cannot recommend Rebecca enough. If you feel overwhelmed and are constantly stressed about your child’s bladder or bowel issues, reach out to her. You’re not alone, and she can help. Thank you so much Rebecca!
Rebecca was extremely helpful and provided so many helpful hints and tips for dealing with my sensitive little one, who has found the whole process of potty training very daunting! We even 1 day on, have been noticing the changes already just by following a few simple steps Rebecca gave us. Would highly recommend her approach, which is very gentle, considered and she spends a lot of time understanding the temperament of your little one, which all feeds into how they potty train. I only wish we had consulted her much earlier on! Thank you again Rebecca!
Rebecca really knows her stuff – I have explored hundreds of potty training resources but it is her advice that I have found to be the most accurate, thorough, clear and helpful. Instead of simply focusing on tactics, Rebecca takes time to understand your child and their unique behaviours which enables her to tailor a plan that will yield success. Not only is it Rebecca’s knowledge that makes her a great coach, but also her empathy and way of making you feel heard and understood (something that isn’t easy to come by)! Rebecca definitely goes the extra mile in her consultations – you can see how passionate she is about what she does. She has already been such a great support for us and I am so grateful to have come across her. Thanks, Rebecca!
My son had just turned three and started at a preschool which required him to be potty trained. He started wetting and soiling himself several times a day, to the point it was becoming a problem with the school. A nurse at our doctors said he was still learning and not to worry. We decided to seek help from Rebecca who immediately recognised that he was constipated. We followed her advice and went from several soiled clothes a day to none! He has gone from strength to strength and now shuts the door when he is on the toilet! We are so grateful and highly recommend Rebecca for any potty training advice or problem.
I cannot sing Rebecca’s praises highly enough – my son got himself 90% potty trained and then we got stuck. A constant stream of accidents for more than six months. We tried everything – three different potty training classes, advice from anyone who offered, giving up and back to nappies – and nothing worked. At the end of my rope, I called Rebecca. Within days we were seeing improvement and by the time we went on holiday three weeks later, he was so on top of it that he got every wee in the potty on a 23-hour travel day through two trains, three airports and two planes…including the one where he announced he needed a wee just as the seatbelt sign came one, meaning he had to hold it for nearly half an hour. If you are on the fence, book Rebecca. My only regret is not calling her sooner.
Couldn’t recommend Rebecca and her expertise enough. Our 4 year old son has some additional needs and we had made no progress whatsoever in potty training before we got in touch with Rebecca. The conventional approaches just did not work on him and caused him to totally shut down. He is now fully toilet trained and this is all thanks to Rebecca’s gentle and tailored approach, which took into account his temperament, anxieties and specific needs. Thank you so much
Absolute expert, wish i’d called her a year ago when my daughter’s problems started.
I truly believe that all potty training parents need Rebecca’s advice in their lives! We were really stumped and struggling to find support for our under 5, and just one session with Rebecca was completely transformative for us as a family. Rebecca is understanding, positive and really knows how to provide bespoke information for every child. We cannot recommend enough!
Rebecca was so knowledgeable and offered such great recommendations. She really took time before our private coaching call to understand the situation, our child, and our needs. She was so informative during the call. We 100% recommend her!
Rebecca is amazing!! Our 3 year old has been struggling with constipation for a long time we didn’t know what else to do to help her. We reached out in desperation. Rebecca quickly responded to me and set up a meeting. She addressed our issues in depth and what was contribution both physically and behaviorally. She gave us short term and long term advice, as well as a ton of resources to help us help our daughter. Since our meeting two weeks ago, our daughter has had no accidents and newfound confidence in her potty abilities. We highly recommend Rebecca, she listens to your needs and addresses them in a way that works for you.
Rebecca was so helpful with our potty training journey. She tailored a plan to suit our daughters personality. She was so understanding and didn’t make us feel at all like it was our fault that we were struggling. Even after our consultation when we encountered a further problem she was there to still offer us some advice and point us in the right direction to which of her training videos would be helpful. We now have a successfully trained little girl and so I can’t recommend Rebecca enough.
To say that Rebecca has helped us is a massive understatement. She has a wonderful, supportive manner and her ideas are fantastic. She has a wealth of knowledge about potty training resistance and fear and she came up with a plan specifically tailored to suit my son and his needs, all the while respecting our method of gentle parenting.
Rebecca was absolutely fantastic in assisting us with potty training our 2 year old. It was something I really stressed about but after our 1:1 consultation with Rebecca I felt confident enough to get going. Rebecca took the the time to listen and understand our child’s temperament and set out a plan that would work for her. After 3 days of saying goodbye to nappies our daughter was fully potty trained. I definitely don’t think I could have managed without the Rebecca and I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs some guidance with potty training!
